Solid Waste Operators

The White River RSWMD offers professional license training for Licensed Solid Waste Operators to maintain compliance with state and federal laws and to insure responsible operation of landfills, transfer stations, and other permitted solid waste facilities in the White River District. Training classes are offered locally, in partnership with the Arkansas Environmental Academy, a Division of South Arkansas University, and include the following:

• Solid Waste Apprentice Training – offered annually or as needed.

• Solid Waste Journeyman Training – offered as needed.

• Solid Waste Master License Training – offered as needed.

• Solid Waste Update (6 hour annual requirement) – offered annually.
